After taking an extended break, independently of his will, the musician-artist Dinastar Shango has resumed his activities, notably with the recording work of his new single "Matongi" (Denigrations).

Thus, he left his base in Mulhouse, France, where he has been settled for several years, for Paris, in the same country, where he locked himself in a studio from the 27th to the 30th of December.

As we can see, this artist has not yet had his final say, and many of those who know him and who have tasted the first, still raw notes of his new single reassure that 2024 is a lucky year for the artist.

The "artistic advisor" of the late Madilu has more to give to lovers of Congolese music (in all its diversity), especially to his fans to whom he presents his best wishes for the year 2024.

With evocative titles like "Limbisa," a song dedicated to his dear late wife, Marthe Shango, "Bolingo" (Love), "Limbisa ngai" (Forgive me), all sung in the "Afro Soul" style which he claims to have originated and which creates a sensation wherever he performs, he still has much to give not only to Congolese and African music but to music universally.

To achieve quality in his works, the one also called "The Congolese from Mulhouse" likes to surround himself with great minds... virtuosos, I meant to say.

For instance, "Bolingo" produced in 2009 and released in 2011 benefited from the arrangement by Sec Bidens and featured the vocal participation of "De Souza Santu" (former member of the Empire Bakuba group of Pépé Kallé), Abby Surya (the performer of the famous song "Ousmane Bakayoko" by Mayaula), Céline Cheynut (backing vocalist for Christophe MAE), Youssou N’dour and not forgetting the great Manu Dibangu...

We will return to this in an interview with this artist who will surely reveal the names of his colleagues he has invited this time in "Matongi".
