Leopards: Some players arrange with 500 euros each to assist displaced people in the East of the DRC.

Each player of Congolese origin playing in their respective clubs this weekend will symbolically donate an amount of 500€ into a common fund, several sources announce.

These funds will then be distributed to associations actively working in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo within a humanitarian framework. In addition to the right back from FC Lorient, several players of Congolese origin will participate in this operation. Among others, there are Samuel Moutoussamy, Marcel Tisserand, Aldo Kalulu, Pierre Kalulu, Arthur Masuaku, Yoane Wissa, Cédric Bakambu, Christian Mawissa, Neeskens Kebano, Grâce Geyoro.

The Leopards have shown several acts of solidarity during the last Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. The Congolese predators took part in awareness and consolation campaigns for the victims of armed violence in the East of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The North Kivu province alone counts 20 war displaced persons sites listed with more than 2 million 700 thousand war displaced persons. Other housing sites are located on the outskirts of Goma, the capital of North Kivu, notably more than 20 kilometers from the volcanic city where women and children live in indescribable promiscuity following the M23 rebellion supported by Rwanda.
