The vote has been postponed to this Thursday, December 21, in the territory of Popokabaka (Kwango) due to the late deployment of electoral materials.
The information was provided on Wednesday by the administrator of the territory, Faustin Tshimanga.
He is waiting for an announcement from the CENI to inform the population about this decision, he adds, in order to calm them.
Faustin Tshimanga attributes the delay in the deployment of the materials to conflicts among politicians, which prevented the materials from being deployed on time.
The delayed deployment of electoral materials has been the cause of the voting operation being delayed in many centers of Kwango province, especially in the territories of Feshi, Kasongolunda, and Kahemba.
