The ceremony took place on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at the Palais du Peuple in Brazzaville. The President of the Republic of the Congo-Brazzaville, Denis Sassou Nguesso, received the credentials of four new ambassadors accredited to Congo.

Justin Inzun Kakiak, the former Director of the ANR and the new Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of the Congo to Congo-Brazzaville, was among these four ambassadors. He succeeds Christophe Muzungu, who served in this position for nearly 12 years. He is now accredited in Dakar, Senegal. His ambassadorial authority also extends to Mali, The Gambia, and Cape Verde.

It is appropriate to note that this ceremony occurred 22 days after the presidential ordinance was read on the national channel, RTNC.
