Representing the supervising minister, Rose Mutombo, the chief of staff, Me Pélagie Ebeka praised President Tshisekedi's commitment to strengthening the female presence within the future institutions of the country.

"In the Democratic Republic of Congo, despite all the burdens and barriers standing against women's rights and equal opportunities, we can take pride in having a defender, the very one who has materialized his will to involve women in decision-making spheres by significantly increasing their number and assigning them positions of responsibility. I am referring to His Excellency Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, President of the Republic, Head of State, and champion of positive masculinity. At this time, I would like not only to pay tribute to him for what he has already accomplished in this area but most importantly for us all together to applaud and encourage him to keep his promise to increase the rate of women's representation in the upcoming institutions to be established," said Me Ebeka, Justice ministerial delegate.

Furthermore, she was pleased to note that "the situation of women's rights is nonetheless seeing a notable evolution on the international level thanks to the numerous international legal instruments for the promotion and defense of women's rights, which the DRC has also ratified."

Moreover, Rose Mutombo did not fail to send a message to women and girls who are victims of atrocities caused by armed conflicts in the East of the country.

"As we talk about the situation of women's rights, my thoughts go to our brave sisters and daughters from the East of our country who, under the sun, under the rain, no matter the weather, day or night, are forced to flee the fights from an unjust war, suffer all forms of gender-based violence, as they have to provide for the needs of their families," she lamented.
