On site, several dignitaries made an appearance, including the President of the Constitutional Court and the Chief Justice of the Court of Cassation.

Like these two figures, high-ranking judges and media executives joined in, acknowledging the promptness with which these cards are issued, meeting the required standards. This act was praised by the various guests present who commend the efforts made by the ONIP, which as of this day has enabled Congolese citizens to have an identity.

"It's really a true sense of pride that characterizes me today; it’s a historic day for the entire country because if we speak of a state of law, we must also refer to national identification," stated Dieudonné Kamuleta, president of the Constitutional Court.

It should be noted that this card has been designed to prevent any tampering thanks to very advanced cutting-edge technology. In the coming days, each citizen will be able to carry out this operation, thus allowing Congolese to replace the voter card, which until now served as an identity document.
