The President of the Republic of Congo and President-in-Office of the International Conference on the Great Lake Areas (CIRGL), Denis Sassou N’guesso was pleased with the publication by the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI), of the provisional results of the presidential election of last 30 December in DRC, according to official statement arrived Saturday to ACP.
President Denis Sassou N’guesso said to have taken note of the proclamation of the victory of the president of the Union for the Democracy and the Social progress (UDPS), Felix Tshisekedi Tshilombo, while calling all the political actors and the congolese civil society to continue in peace the electoral process.
The President-in-Office of CIRGL invited all the fascinating parts to the electoral process in progress to use the legal ways in electoral matter in DRC. However, he said as available to support all the initiatives aiming to the peaceful and happy of electoral process result in this large country of the Great Lake areas.
