After several weeks of shortages of essential medicines, the health zone of Kayina, located in the territory of Lubero, North Kivu, has pleaded for restocking.

Medical supplies by the government and partners including the World Health Organization (WHO) were intended to bolster the capacities of hospitals to ensure free medical care for war-displaced people scattered throughout this health zone.

Despite this shortage, a few government partners, such as the ICRC, MSF, Care International, and Medair, continue to support certain health areas, to guarantee care for displaced persons for primary health care.

To this effect, a call has been made by the health zone, to the authorities in order to restock them with medicines for the care of displaced persons of all categories for care
