The military tribunal of garrison of Ituri pronounced late in the night of Thursday one year sorrow of firm prison to the provincial deputy of Ituri Hubert Berocan, Actualite.cd reported

The deputy was recognized guilty of "rebellion against state of siege proclaimed by the President of the Republic banning any political activity with the provincial deputies" or "the trading and the detrimental charge".

According to the source, Hubert Berican was arrested on order of the vice-governor of Ituri, the police chief Benjamin Alongaboni, whereas he took part in a ceremony of handing-over of computer equipment at the public schools. The deputy says to have presented himself on the place within the framework of "control citizen". He wanted to make sure that the equipment of the central government was not diverted.

In this context of state of sieges, the provincial deputies cannot enjoy their parliamentary privileges any more. A few weeks ago, another provincial deputy of Ituri was arrested then slackened a few days to have criticized the president of the Republic afterwards.
