Under the title:"the catholic Church expresses its sorrow", FORUM DES AS reports that the secretary chancellor of the Kinshasa Archbishop, Abbot George Njila, expressed Sunday 1st August, "the great sorrow of the church" after the events of the morning. A group of people, not differently identified, introduced at the archbishop's palace of Kinshasa and the residence of cardinal Fridolin Ambongo, Metropolitan Archbishop of Kinshasa, stressing disagreeable songs and talks and posing degradation acts.

According to the newspaper, the attack against the Catholic Church and other acts of degradation were orchestrated following the positions taken by the religious confessions concerning the organizers of the CENI.

Facing these acts, the Bishop of Mbuji-Mayi in Kasaï Oriental where more than 10 parishes were profaned by the unknown persons, recommends "exemplary, firm and fast judgments, to punish the authors as well as to tell to each of one that the respect and the protection of the worship places are guaranteed essential preconditions".

AFRICANEWS, which speaks about "hunting in pack against Cardinal", supports that the treatment reserved Sunday to Cardinal Fridolin Ambongo will hold a particular place in his album of memories.

If the noxious environment of these last weeks and the received hostile attacks of the Secretary-general of Udps, who quoted it by name and taken part in his public exits, should not have surprised, AFRICANEWS wrote, he must not, on the other hand, appreciated the throw of projectiles to its Archbishop's palace, at Lindonge, in the township of Limete, and the discourteous talks uttered against him by a group of young people left nowhere and not differently identified, showing him to have politicized the Church.

"DR Congo: not with politicized Cenco ", LE PHARE mentions. This newspaper notes that the Church in the middle of the village was not a slogan but a reality well lived in our country years ago. However, the principle pains today to be consolidated because of the behavior which post certain princes of the Roman Catholic Church, influential members of the National Episcopal Conference of Congo (CENCO).

To believe the tabloid, "their position ended up shaking the cohesion of the catholic Christians ". And to continue, "to day, some believers who prefer to be expressed out of cameras and cameras do not hesitate to point the accusing finger over the trio of the CENCO leaders, which gives the impression for some time, to have taken as an hostage or privatized the church, whereas some among them sin by the defect of quality to engage all the catholic church of the DRC. They turn up one’s nose at their jurisdiction ".

The Congolese News Agency (ACP) reports that the Prime Minister, Jean Michel Samba, exhorted the members of the government to be concentrated on the priority actions of the president of the Republic Felix Tshisekedi, and mainly on the projects of development of145 territories which account the DRC, during the 13th meeting of the Council of Ministers which he chaired on Friday by videoconference.
