The team of the response against the pandemia of Covid-19 recorded for the day of June 8, 379 new cases of contamination on the whole of the national territory, including 333 in Kinshasa, 18 in Kongo Central, 15 in Tshopo, 11 in North-Kivu, 1 in Haut-Uélé and 1 in Nord-Ubangi.
Four people died in Kinshasa due to the Covid-19. Thus, the accumulation of death passes to 821 cases. The accumulation of case since the official declaration of this pandemia in DRC, March 10, 2020, either 33,956 including 33,955 confirmed cases and 1 probable case.
During a press conference held on Monday June 7 to Goma, the Prime Minister Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde had announced the installation for soon of fast and free tests in the various frontier points of the country. These tests will be entirely taken by the government. In meanwhile, more than 29,000 people were vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine through the country.
