The team of response against Covid-19 in Democratic Republic of Congo has, in its bulletin, reported for the day of Sunday June 6, 136 confirmed new cases of Covid-19, out of 587 samples tested. A death was also announced.

For the cases tested positive, that is distributed in the following way: 125 in Kinshasa, 7 in the South-Kivu, 3 in North-Kivu and 1 in Kongo-Central.

No case of cure was notified this day, neither among the cases dealt with in the processing centers, nor among the people followed to residence. Since the beginning of the epidemic declared on March 10, 2020, the plurality office of the cases is 33,338, including 33,337 confirmed cases and 1 probable case. On the total, there were 805 deaths and 27,751 cured people.

As for the touched provinces, there are 23 out of 26 which account the country. It is about: Kinshasa: 23,468 cases; North-Kivu: 2,932 cases; Haut-Katanga: 2,061 cases; Kongo Central:1,759 cases; South-Kivu: 944 cases; Lualaba: 916 cases; Tshopo:389 cases; Ituri:320 cases; Haut-Uélé: 216 cases; Equateur: 84 cases; Haut-Lomami: 49 cases; Maniema: 42 cases;North-Ubangi:40 cases; Kasaï Central: 30 cases; Kasaï Oriental: 24 cases; Tanganyika: 20 cases; Kasaï:14 case; Kwilu:9 cases; Sud-Ubangi:7 cases; Bas-Uélé: 6 cases; Kwango:5 cases; Tshuapa:3 cases; Maï-Ndombe: 2 cases.

During a press conference held this Monday June 7 in Goma, the Prime Minister Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde announced the installation for soon of the fast and free tests in the various frontier points of the country. These tests will be entirely taken in charge by the government.
