Since 2006, the TP Mazembe (currently 2nd in the classification with 63 points) never missed the champions’ League of the CAF. 15 years after, TP Mazembe of Lubumbashi, which lost the race with the title in front of V Club, could even finish third in the classification, synonym of a qualification in the Confederation Cup.

Their danger is called Maniema Union (3rd with 60 points), which has three matches to play at home against Kinois of DCMP and RCK like Mazembe.

Unfortunately for suspense, the duel between Kinois and Lushois planned for this week, did not take place, once again, for not very obvious reasons.

Maniema will receive this weekend DCMP at the Joseph Kabila stadium before playing with RCK. Its face to face against Mazembe will be, in all the cases, a final for the second qualifying place in the champions’ League.

Mazembe will count in particular on the current form of the DCMP, recent victorious of Lupopo (5-1), but especially on itself. It must imperatively beat Maniema Union in Kindu.
