After an evaluation of the evolution of pandemia, made Tuesday April 13, by the presidential Task force against Covid-19 and under the supervision of the President of the Republic, Felix Tshisekedi, it was decided to take out the curfew in the provinces where the circulation of the virus is weak. And in other provinces or cities, as in Kinshasa where the curve of contamination is downward, the curfew was pushed back of one hour, that is to say from 22 hours to 4 o'clock in the morning.

In addition, the presidential Task force against the covid-19 decided to launch vaccination as of next Monday 19 April.

After study, the Task force reassured that the Astra Zeneca vaccine already available in DRC does not present any disadvantage on the population.

"From where the decision taken to begin its campaign from this Monday April 19, 2021 on all the extent of the territory", announces the presidential Task force according to a dispatch of the presidential press.

For the outgoing Minister of Interior which made the restitution of this meeting, vaccination will be voluntary and the priority will be granted to the looking after personnel, to the vulnerable people suffering from the chronic diseases and to all the people exposed to a significant flow in the exercise of their work.
