The membership of the former Prime Minister Augustin Matata Ponyo within the people party for the rebuilding and the democracy (PPRD) and the Common Front for Congo (FCC) is averted from now on in the past, one notes in a tweeter assigned to him since this Thursday March 12.

"The man with the red tie" decided to leave this party and the regrouping in which he evolved. Without however expressing on the reasons of his departure, quite simply evoking personal reasons and testifying his recognition to Raïs Joseph Kabila Kabange to have allowed him to exert high positions within the government.

In addition, he does not either speaks about his political future, in particular his adhesion or not within the Sacred Union for the Nation.

In this tweeter, he notes in particular:" For personal reasons, I submitted my resignation at PPRD and FCC. I thank President J.K. Kabange to have allowed me to work during nearly 12 years within the PPRD and to occupy the functions of Minister in charge of Finance and Prime Minister.

Professor of University, Augustin MatataPonyo, one recalls, was a Prime Minister between April 2012 and December 2016, under the Joseph Kabila’s regime after having exerted the functions of the Minister responsible of Finance (as from February 19, 2010) up to April 2012 within the government that Adolphe Muzito led whom he replaced.

But he was also, during 7 years (from 2003 to 2010), General manager of the central Office of coordination (BCECO). His name is quoted in the file known as of the diversion of the funds of the agro-industrial park of Bukanga Lonzo.

Matata PonyoMapon which born on June 5, 1964 in Kindu in the province of Maniema began his studies at Mwanga primary school (ex Saint-Gaston) in 1970 in Kindu. He obtains his certificate of primary school at the Tuendele school in 1976 in the same city. In 1983, he got his State diploma at the Bwindi Institute in Bukavu in commercial and administrative section. The same year, he begins his studies at Lubumbashi University and obtains his graduate diploma in economic sciences in 1986.

The same year he takes his inscription at the University of Kinshasa. He obtains in 1988 his licence in economic sciences. And in 2016, he obtains in the same university his post graduate diploma and undertakes the drafting of his thesis of doctorate.
