Born in November 4, 1942 in the territory of Luozi, in Kongo central, pharmacist Flaubert Batangu Mpesa, promoter of the pharmaceutical research center of Luozi (CRPL) in the same province and inventor of several products whose Manalaria, Manadiar and Manacovid, died this night in Kinshasa at the 79 years old, according to family sources.

This well known pharmacist died in a medical formation of the place where he has been allowed for approximately two weeks, explain the same sources without expressing on the disease which killed him.

His death is regarded as a great loss in the scientific, medical world in particular insofar as his research in the pharmaceutical field contributes to pubic health.

His products made with natural plants are consumed not only in DRC, but in several other countries of the continent. Among those Manacovid which he put on the market a few months ago within the framework of the fight against the pandemia of Covid 19 which, as it is known, currently makes devastations throughout the world.

This product was presented to the governmental authorities, in particular the ministry responsible of the Health which encouraged him while promising to support him although it is not approved yet by the World Health Organization (WHO).
