We had just asked the minister of State to be the interlocutress of the Agency near the President of the Republic to expose certain problems which handicap the good functioning of this public media, in particular the lack of functioning expenses, the general manager of the ACP revealed after their talk.
"The Congolese News Agency is the mastodon of the African and congolese press. We seized this opportunity to inform to the minister of State that the ACP was classified in the 4th position among the national agencies of press members of the Atlantic Federation of the African news services (FAAPA) for the year 2020 ", Lambert Kaboyi let know.
According to him, this event coincides with the election of the President of the Republic, Felix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, at the revolving presidency of the African Union for 2021-2022.
"It is as Foreign Minister, that we have the duty to announce to you this good news of the performance of the ACP", he said.
Indeed, the general manager Lambert Kaboyi underlined, as a first official source of information in DRC, ACP is represented inside the country through its provincial directions, just like abroad.
According to him, the ACP has the right to exercise the option enabling him to become multi-media as from March, within the framework of going with this agency with the activities of President Felix Antoine Tshisekedi at the head of the African Union.
