At one day of the kick off of the 6th edition of the Championship of Africa of the Nations and at two days of their first meeting in B group in front of Diable Rouge du Congo Brazza, the Leopards arrived on the place of the competition on Thursday January 14.

All the congolese delegation was full up in its descent from the plane that has landed at the Douala airport.

Led by Jean-Florent Ibenge, the congolese selection launches out to reconquer its title of champion of Africa lost in 2018 to the Morocco profit. DRC had not taken part in the final phase of this edition, eliminated in the Africa-central zone by Congo Brazzaville, its adversary of this Sunday January 17 in B group before playing with Niger and Libya.

Winner in 2009 and 2016, the DRC hopes to win its 3rd sacring in this competition reserved to the players evolving in their respective local championships.

Ley Matampi, Michée Mika, Ricky Tulenge and Doxa Gikanji are the only ones to be present at the time of 2016 edition played in Rwanda.
