The official statement was read Monday in the evening on the antennas of the national channel, RTNC, after a meeting at the national Institute of biomedical research (INRB) between the Minister of State, Willy Bakonga, who was with his vice-minister Didier Budimbu, and the multi-sector committee of fight against Covid-19.

It comes out from this working session between the two parts that a rise of case of Covid-19 was noted during two weeks. What justifies the intense circulation of Coronavirus in the town of Kinshasa and elsewhere in certain provinces of DRC.

While following the orientations of the experts of the INRB, the minister of State, responsible of the EPST Willy Bakonga, said`` not to want taking any risk knowing that the children are regarded as vectors of this pandemia '', while asking the pupils to be patient while waiting for the evaluation report of the evolution of pandemia by the INRB.

He reassured his determination to take suitable measures in front of any form of possibilities so that nothing blocks the good course of the teachers, while recalling that the Head of State Felix Antoine Tshisekedi placed the education at the head of his quinquennial priorities.

It is important to note that the two parts, means the ministry for the EPST and the multi-sector committee of fight against Covid-19, will meet without delay to evaluate the situation of the aforementioned pandemia before indicating the date of a probable resumption of the courses.

According to experts of the INRB, "it is not careful to send the pupils to the school whereas pandemia is to its ascending phase with a rate of contamination of 30%. In very little time the second vague already exceeded the peak of the first whereas it is only at its beginnings ". And to believe the experts, they invited the authorities of the country to act in any responsibility not to expose the pupils and the teachers to Covid-19.
