The talk took place in the presence of the ambassador of Egypt in DRC, Hamdy Shaaban. The head of the delegation of the Authority of the military engineering of the Egyptian Armed Forces, the General Mahmoud Shain, let know after their talk that "the headlight project which justified our displacement is the realization of feasibility studies for the navigability of the Congo River from Boma until Kinshasa". For this project of great scale, it should be noted that 6 companies go with them in this study, if it is positive, the aforementioned companies undoubtedly will take part in the execution of the project.
Egypt and the Democratic Republic of Congo are getting ready to build together a new dynamics of Co-operation and of Reinforcement of the bonds of investment, he added. This delegation also included persons in charge of two Egyptian companies already working in various projects in the congolese capital, in particular ARAB Contractor and Hassan Alian.
It should be announced that the aforementioned delegation projects the descent on the site in order to prospect the place where this great project for the development of the DR Congo will be set up. For his part, the ambassador of Egypt in DRC, Hamdy Shaaban, in addition, appreciated the participative approach of the Prime Minister, Sylvestre Ilunga Ilunkamba, in this South-South co-operation.
