Adviser at the Prime Minister Office and former president of the League of the young people of the Party of the people for the rebuilding and democracy (PPRD), Patrick Nkanga greeted the Felix Tshisekedi’s speech during the 75th the session of the General meeting of the United Nations- And that, particularly on the point concerning the armed groups which pullulate in the East part of democratic Republic of Congo.

"It is to be greeted that the Head of State in particular mentioned, the security crisis in the East part of our country", tweeted Patrick Nkanga, this Wednesday September 23, 2020. For him, this mention "is a step towards a common apprehension of these problems which need a republican face behind our Institutions"

A few weeks ago, another member of PPRD, the deputy François Nzekuye had cleared his moral authority, the former president of the Republic, Joseph Kabila, on the atrocities made by armed groups in particular in Beni, in the north of the province of North-Kivu. "People realizes that the war in Beni did not stop, contrary to what one believed that it is Kabila who involved the war. But Kabila is not any more in the power and the war still continues ", he had noted at the time of his parliamentary holidays in his electoral stronghold of Rutshuru.

As a recall, Felix Tshisekedi has, in his speech, established the obviousness according to which the democratic Republic of Congo will not manage to neutralize the armed groups without eradicating their sources of food and support.

For Felix Tshisekedi, these armed groups are fed by incomes coming from the illicit exploitation of the congolese natural resources. "The established report shows generally that these armed groups have the means which enable them to continue their activities. These means often come from the illicit exploitation of the natural resources of DRC.
