The spokesman of the National Episcopal Conference of Congo, CENCO, Abbot Donatien Nshole, disapproved Wednesday July 22, 2020 the calendar of the emergency state which devotes the reopening of the worship places after that of the commercial activities.

This circumstance program presented in several phases did not leave indifferent Cenco. Its spokesman didn’t wait to expressing his disapproval on the reference with later of the reopening of the worship places, affirming that the churches should reopen immediately after the long period of the restrictions.

The priest who had evil to digest the priorized return of the trade, transport and other activities of the life in society, had problem to appreciate this decision relegating the prayer in last position, the prayer could have had a place of choice in the life of the man.

The first phase of this plan will be spread out from July 22 to August 14, 2020. July 22 plans the resumption of the commercial activities: stores, banks, restaurants, coffees, bars, firms; the resumption of the gatherings, meetings, celebrations and public transport. August 3 is devoted to the return of the schools, Universities, while starting with final classes and promotions.

Thirdly, starting from August 14, the programmed reopening of the churches, the worship places, the resumption of the inter provincials migratory movements; the reopening of the ports, airports and borders; the reopening of the discotheques, stadiums, spectacle rooms.

And however, for the funeral, the current devices remain maintained, they must be strict applications. In the current context, it important to specify that the methods practice of recovery in the various sectors will be determined by the national, provincial and local qualified authorities.

Being of the medical measures which must imperatively go with the recovery, I point out the need for observing everywhere and in any time, the barriers measures hereafter: the installation of provisions of control at each entry inviting the taking of temperature, the washing of the hands and or the hydroalcooic application of freezing, the correct and obligatory wearing of mask in the public places, the physical distance, the control and follow-up of the health of the public and private personnel as well as the decontamination and the disinfection of the activities’ places", the president of the Republic decided.
