The minister of State, Foreign Minister received Wednesday, July 8, 2020 in his study the ambassador of Morocco in DRC.

Rachid Agassin came to present at Marie Tumba Nzeza a collection entitled "Mohammed VI Africa", at the time of the commemoration of the 60 years of DRC of its independence.

In this collection one finds there the history of the relations between the kingdom of the Morocco and his African brothers.

The ambassador of Morocco in DRC presented at the minister the first page of the work where one finds the photograph of the national hero, Patrice Emery Lumumba, with the late king Hassan II of Morocco and his father.

This photograph is a symbolic because it expresses solidarity between DRC and Morocco and that it is a proof of solidarity of the kingdom of Morocco, and it has been a proof of the solidarity of the kingdom of Morocco which always was at the sides of DRC, for 60 years.

Moreover, their exchanges also turned on the file related to the revival of holding the Joint Committee, Morocco-DRC which is currently suspended because of the pandemia of Covid- 19, the Moroccan diplomat specified.

Rachid Agassin also spoke about the gift in pharmaceutical products to fight against Covid-19. These products were given in DRC and 15 other African countries. On this subject, he indicated that this gift is a clear message of solidarity between African countries and that it is the first time that African country undertakes a continental gift on the scale.
