The town of Goma, capital of North-Kivu, does not count any more cases confirmed with the coronavirus.It is the good communicated news this Wednesday April 22 by the governor of North-Kivu, Carly Nzanzu.

To believe him, the city thus overcame pandemia with the cure of its three cases recorded up to now. Immediately, Carly Nzanzu announces the reopening of Goma to other territories of the province.

The traffic between Goma and Butembo will begin again as of this Thursday April 23, except that with Beni which still counts a positive case.

Only one suspect case is followed in Bunagana, in the territory of Rutshuru.

North-Kivu is one of the four provinces of the DRC touched by the coronavirus. To date, the country counts 359 confirmed cases for 25 deaths and 45 cures. Kinshasa remains the epicentre with more than 340 confirmed cases.
