The congolese government has just decided to make free the supply of water and electricity to the households during two months period in the aim to reduce the charges to be supported by the households struck by the medical crisis of the covid-19.

This decision which takes immediate effect has just relieved the sorrow of the households and supports their economies for this difficulties period by clearing them to pay for two months an unspecified invoice of Snel that of Régideso.

This decision is also valid for the hospitals as well as Microphone and small and average enterprises which, is struck by the closing measure within the framework of the response against Covid-19 in DRC.

The minister of State, minister of Hydraulic Resources and electricity, Eustace Muhanzi and the minister of Finance, Sele Yalaghuli are charged by the Prime Minister to make apply this decision.

The government forbids the clearing off of the tenants not having honored their engagement only in this period, from March to June 2020.

One should note in the same order the suspension of the tax on the remuneration of the agents and civils servant and the professional tax on the revenue (Ipr) of 15% on all the premiums of the civils servant for 3 months duration.

The government invited the population to support these measures and to understand them not to break the production equipment and to worsen the future situation of the economy of the country.
