The situation of this pandemia in the country increasingly becomes serious. Hundreds of people recalled by the technicians of hygiene were placed in quarantine, suspected to have been in contact with the proven cases of Coronavirus. The virologist Jean-Jacques Muyembe already speaks about measures of "social distance" if the virus managed to contaminate the natives, i.e., cases which did not travel towards the countries touched by pandemia.

"If we see that there are native cases which did not travel but which develops the disease, in this moment there, it will be necessary to already take measures of social distance which one will apply everywhere and also to have the structures of the adequate care because the major problem is that all the complicated cases should be hospitalized. And the no complicated cases, it should be also decided if they should be kept at the house or how. Because, by day, one can have 1,500 cases and our care structures are not able to welcome such a number of cases ", Doctor Muyembe recognized.

The congolese government on its side, was in the extraordinary Council of Ministers yesterday, Tuesday March 17. And the president of the Republic should address to Congolese in the hours to come. Felix Tshisekedi should announce, in his short speech, the suspension of international flights coming from the countries strongly touched by pandemia or the closing of the terrestrial borders with also touched nearby countries, like Rwanda. But the hour is not with the anticipation of the contents of his speech. The spokesman of the government, Jolino Makelele, as for him, limited himself to affirm yesterday, in the evening, that "important decisions" will be announced by the Head of State, Felix Antoine Tshisekedi.
