The congolese international player, Meschack Elia, has just engaged for three seasons with the largest clubs of the Swiss championship, Young Boys of Bern.

With this signature, the player succeed well there, him who was suspended one year by the congolese Federation of football association (FECOFA) about the conflict which opposes him to his former club, TP Mazembe. This last had sent him to the Belgian club of Anderlecht last August. But the player, although having satisfied the test, preferred to join Switzerland against the opinion of his club.

Last week, the FIFA granted him a provisional authorization to play while waiting for the outcome of his litigation with Mazembe which accused him to require the political asylum in Switzerland and not to respect his contract. What enabled him very quickly to sign this contract with Young Boys of Bern. Business to be followed.
