The antenna of the independent national electoral Commission, CENI, of the city of Inongo, in province of Maï-Ndombe, announced to have recorded important property damages in a fire which consumed ten electoral machines, the pieces of furniture of offices and many other important documents.

The person in charge of formation, inscription and poll of the antenna of Ceni/Maï-Ndombe, assuming the interim of the provincial executive secretary, declared that the cause of the drama is charged to the explosion of the batteries which feed this structure of support to the democracy.

This explosion caused the fire which took all the building before the evacuation of the remainder of the materials made with the assistance of the agents of the order as of the elements of the DGM which has the offices in the surroundings, said Faustin Ngokumu, the person in charge of the formation, inscription and poll of CENI/Mai-Ndombe.

The extinguishers did not function correctly to extinguish fire but rather it is the sand which was used to control fire. Males containing the voting machines which were damaged and certain very useful documents being in the office of the legal adviser burnt.
