The children of the soldiers and policemen brought together within Asbl "Telema Mwanaya Mapinga" decided to peacefully march this Tuesday January 14 in the streets of the capital to say no to the social inequalities which undergo their parents including themselves and the other children of the Republic, the official statement signed by the principal coordinator Christella Kiakuba, pointed out.

Gentiny Ngobila justified his decision by the "climate of tension currently reigning in the town of Kinshasa, exacerbated, inter alia by the recent events which took place with the campus of the University of Kinshasa". In addition, he asked them to constitute a small delegation not exceeding three people to summit their memorandum to the appropriate authority.

At the side of the organization, one supports that peaceful march is devoted by the Constitution of the country, especially in its article 26 in order to allow to all the citizens to claim a legitimate right.

He specifies to have approached by a letter the governor concerning the town of Kinshasa, Gentiny Ngobila, on December 26, 2019 to inform him of the organization of a peaceful march on January 14, 2020 to say not to the social inequalities between the children of the soldiers and the policemen with the other children of the Republic.

On January 8, 2020, a letter of recall was addressed to the authority of the city in accordance with article 6 of Orders in Council N 196 bearing regulation of the demonstrations and the public meetings which stipulates that:"going beyond of 48 hours or 5 days deadline respectively carries away the act of the granting of office of the authorization".

However, this organization was said available to exchange with the authorities of the place for security measures, question of ensuring the peaceful character of their march.

The provincial police chief of the police force town of Kinshasa and the burgomasters of the municipalities of Kintambo and Ngaliema were requested, each one, in what concerns him, to take care of the execution of the provision prohibiting this peaceful march for the above reasons.
