Appointed at the head of the Inter ministerial Commission to find suitable solutions to the inter institutional crisis which paralyzes the good functioning of state affairs in Kongo central, in Ituri, in Sankuru and Haut-Lomami, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice and Keeper Tunda Ya Kasende, has just started the machine. This is the case to say in view of the launch on Thursday 9 January of a series of meetings.

The work of this commission in which the main political players of the concerned provinces take part, as well as experts from several ministries in particular, will have to end on Monday, January 13.


According to the director of cabinet of the Ministry of Justice, Paul Musafiri, it will be a question during the works of identifying the causes of the instability observed in these provinces and proposing ways to get out of the crisis to restore peace. In short, purely technical working sessions where it will be a question of confronting the facts with political realities

It should be remembered, this inter ministerial commission was established on the basis of article 55 of the degree of July 10, 2019 which provides that in case of need, the Council of Ministers can create, on an exceptional basis, ad-hoc inter ministerial commissions to study specific issues.
