According to the report of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), 10% of the African population monopolizes 30% to 35% the incomes of the continent.

The index of human development is based on several data implying inter alia, the level of education of the population, health and the income. If these figures remain less low than those of Asia (40% to 55%) or of America (45%à 55%), they hide different realities according to countries.

The incomes perceived by the richest 10% go from 37% to Algeria to 65% to South Africa, while North Africa and west are the least uneven. By taking account of the classification, the evolutions were noted compared to 2018.

One always notes at first African place, Seychelles. If the country preserves its 62nd world place, it succeeded in rising in the category of the countries having Idh (human development indice) weak.

The sad one majority (31) of the African countries studied in the report are classified all in the weak category of weak Idh.

On the continent, the strongest progression is allotted to the Comoros which pass from 165th world place to the 156th (23rd African) followed of Botwana which passes to 94th world place (5th African), Ivory Coast classified from now on 165th world place (32nd African) and of world Liberia, 41st African and 176th.

Niger as for him remains the country having weakest Idh in the world, in front of Central Africa and Chad. On the other hand, DRC is classified 179th country in the world and 43rd in Africa.

For recall, the classification of Idh evaluates the level of human development of the countries (189 on the total).
