A colossal project has begun to draw up an inventory of diplomatic actions that will remove cases that only the Minister of State in charge of Foreign Affairs holds the arguments and undisclosed evidence.

Marie Tumba Nzeza struck again in this back-pedaling saga. In a message of Wednesday, December 9, 2019, the Minister of State decided to end the functions of ambassador to Ignace Gata Mavita, called to immediately leave any the permanent mission of the DRC to the UN.

This diplomat definitely recalled is no longer the permanent representative of the Democratic Republic of Congo to the United Nations.

The decision fell as the renewal of the mandate of the UN Stabilization Mission in the DRC from here the end of December 2019. Ignace Gata Mavita, 70, is one of those who actively advocated for the withdrawal of Monusco.

Former Congolese vice-minister of foreign affairs (2007-2012), Gata Mavita has always maintained, in New York, that the best protection of civilians, mission assigned to Monusco, involves the hunt for armed groups active in east of the country.
