In his meeting organized on November 12, 2019, the temporary president of the Union for the democracy and the social progress (UDPS) a verbal offensive launched against the FCC. Considering the power of Felix Tshisekedi is not a gift on behalf of Joseph Kabila. For the FCC, the talk pronounced by Jean-Marc Kabund is of abusive nature to the regard as well of Joseph Kabila as of other members of this political family. Néhémie Mwilanya estimates that this talk can plunge the country in a serious political and institutional crisis of which "it does not measure the consequences for lack of political maturity ".

The political platform of Joseph Kabila points out the importance of the unit, stability and peace in the country. But also promises to give a response to the "institutional plan" to this exit of Kabund. "We condemn excessive talk, agitators, irresponsible, defamatory and abusive toward our moral Authority, Joseph Kabila and promise to reserve suitable continuations there on the institutional level", the FCC announces in its official statement.

As a reminder, in his meeting, the interim president of the UDPS had warned the FCC, citing the conditions of the 2011 elections with Etienne Tshisekedi which he describes as having been victorious in these elections. Kabund will go further in his talk by pointing out that in Angola or South Africa, the former heads of state or their relatives face judicial setbacks and that CACH was ready to "set aside the eggs" that Félix Tshisekedi is bringing and put yourself in the arena in case of "disorder".

This escalation of tensions between the two allies was revived by a video, Sunday, on the Web, showing young people with the banner of the People's Party for Reconstruction and Democracy (PPRD) who burn an effigy of Felix Tshisekedi, Kolwezi. What had made Jean-Marc Kabund jump on Twitter, interrupting discussions with the FCC, until "responsibilities are established". The governor of Lualaba, Richard Muyej announced, the same Sunday, November 10, a meeting with the authors of these acts of vandalism. Prime Minister Sylvestre Ilunga Ilunkamba, for his part, decided to send a government delegation to Kolwezi immediately to inquire about the situation.
