At the Paris Peace Forum, President Felix Tshisekedi reiterated his willingness to reconsider all categories of Congolese society. At this meeting, the issue of Congolese youth has not gone unnoticed.

President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo pointed out that the military solution is needed to fight armed groups, certainly, but in addition to that, we must explain the problem of youth who needs more guidance, more democracy and jobs.

To believe the President of the Republic, the DRC will be present in this rendez-vous that concern the peace and development. He made this promise on Tuesday, November 12 during his speech at the Paris Peace Forum.

Indeed, questions related to it, allowed sketching ways to provide answers to the problems of young people, including unemployment, both by acting upstream, on training, and concerning their insertion in the labor market.

Of these ideas, it is necessary to reconsider the problem of the insertion of the young people is above all a problem of employment. To favor job creation-rather than leaving young people at the doors of companies, it is better to encourage them to create their own jobs, even if it is true that non-wage earning implies certain precariousness.

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, the youth unemployment rate is very high compared to the rest of the labor force. The problem of the integration of young people does not come from their age but because they are entering the company, a very limited flow because of the lack of mobility of employees already inserted. Moreover, in a phase of economic crisis, it is the marginal profiles that are most affected. Youth unemployment is a symptom of a set of problems, in particular.
