The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals Tunda Ya Kasende promises to create, as soon as possible, and with the assistance of other ministries and departments of the State, a financial prosecutor of the French type.
He declared it on Thursday, October 17th, during the presentation of the reforms initiated by his ministry, during the validation meeting of the 2021 Doing business reform sheet.
He explained that this jurisdiction will, inter alia, be responsible for dealing with complex cases involving anti-corruption offenses, misappropriation of public funds, money laundering, large-scale fraud and many other financial crimes...
