While in Kinshasa, provincial governors met on Thursday August 22, 2019, President Felix Tshisekedi Tshilombo. On the menu of this meeting, questions related to the evaluation of the actions carried out in their respective jurisdictions.

It appears that the Head of State has in turn granted a special audience to each governor for about fifteen minutes. Question of allowing each Chief of the Provincial Executive to submit, particular, problems concerning his jurisdiction

Governors Martin Kabuya from Kasaï Central Province and Dieudonné Piembe from Kasaï both spoke of the problems concerning the security and humanitarian situation of the displaced persons and refugees from Grand Kasai in Angola as well as the repression of Angola.

"The problems that we are currently concerned about are the return of our compatriots who were taken refugees in Angola, and we have received specific instructions from the President of the Republic to welcome them and then integrate them into their home environment", the governor of Kasai Central, Martin Kabuya said.

For his part, Jacques Kiabula Katwe, the number 1 in the province of Haut Katanga, shared the question of finding ways and means to eradicate not only insecurity for people and their possessions, but also food insecurity due to the shortage of maize flour in his region.

For his part, the Head of State has reiterated his commitment to end the insecurity and to secure people and their possessions and also promised to take appropriate measures to eradicate the phenomenon. For the second part, Felix Tshisekedi pledged his full support for the measures to be taken to avoid the food crisis, especially with regard to the staples such as maize flour throughout the province of Haut Katanga.
