The sturdy figure of Prime Minister Sylvester Ilunga Ilunkamba was not seen on Thursday at the presidency of the Republic where he was meeting President Felix Tshisekedi to give him the latest version of the new government team as it was planned.

We remember that on Wednesday, Felix Tshisekedi had said he would meet the Prime Minister Thursday. He had announced that hopefully, it was the same evening he would make public the government team of his first five years. The Congolese remained in vain with their eyes fixed on the national television.

Sources close to Palais de la Nation reported to digitalcongo.net that the name of Sylvestre Ilunga Ilunkamba was high on the list of the protocol of personalities who should be received the Head of State in the afternoon of Thursday. But until late in the evening the presence of the Prime Minister was not reported. According to our sources, the prime minister was not yet ready with his latest version. Hence this missed appointment.

It is believed that Ilunga Ilunkamba is in his final touch. This last step is kept in discretion to avoid any escape before the publication of the government. Within the National Assembly, where an extraordinary session has been convened to invest the government after the hearing of his program, the session runs until 7 September.
