On the initiative of Bishop José MokoEkanga, Bishop of Idiofa, the latter has a mini-dam built on its own funds, in collaboration with its partners.

This dam whose capacity cannot cover the entire city of Idiofa 24 out of 24, Bishop José Moko let know. Long before, Bishop José Moko had received a group of German investors, who came to learn about the state of the dam.

It was an opportunity for investors to visit the artificial lake, the canal that leads the water to the power station where they found that the sand was invading the lake and decreasing the water level.

Mgr José Moko-Ekanga provided explanations of the power dam which is already old, whose capacity of transformer circuit breaker is also problematic. Hence he requires other pieces of great capacity in order to serve the territory.

The delegation of investors was very satisfied with the initiative and will of the Bishop of Idiofa. They promised to go to submit the project to whom it is entitled for the development of this territory.
