Congolese art will be honored in China where its achievements will be exhibited in October 2020. This announcement was made by the director of the Hunan Province Museum, Li Lisong, during a conference enlived in Beijing for DRC journalists in the city of Changsha.

According to Li Lisong, quoted by ACP, this exhibition is part of the conservation, cultural exchange between China and Africa and focuses on the culture of the DRC, conveyed through these works.

The museum director of Hunan Province explained that this exhibition, whose budget is estimated at $ 100,000, will be mainly devoted to wood carving, with the participation of the renowned artists of the DRC.

This exhibition will strengthen cultural cooperation between both countries, one of the last fruits of which is the construction of a modern museum, China’s donation to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
