The Head of State, Felix Antoine Tshisekedi received during a hearing in the early evening of August 16 at the Cité de l’Union Africaine, the Nigerian contractor, Tony Elumelu, the Presidential Press announced.

The meeting follows the Africa Entrepreneurship Forum, held last July in Abuja, Nigeria.

At the end of the hearing, the Nigerian millionaire who got a commitment to support the promotion of young contractors thanked the President of the Republic for his support to this cause and also for his participation in the Abuja forum.

The Nigerian millionaire was together with another personality, the new leader of the Uba Bank.

Tony Elumelu introduced him to Felix Tshisekedi and both discussed the possibilities of investing in the DRC.

The Nigerian contractor, Tony Elumelu, has a foundation that, up to now, supports more than 3,000 young African contractors selected from among the 216,000 candidates.
Tony Elumelu's visit to DRC augurs an era on the promotion of entrepreneurship to young people and is among the priorities of the five-year term of the Head of State, Felix Tshisekedi.
