The President of the National Assembly, Mrs. Jeanine Mabunda has in a letter addressed to the elected representatives of the people, announced the convocation, from 19 August to 7 September 2019, of an extraordinary session.

During this session, two items will be placed on the agenda, namely: validation of credentials; Hearing of the program as well as investiture of the government.

The news of the announcement of the convening of this extraordinary session has raised hopes within the opinion waiting for the publication of the first government of the five-year term of Felix Tshisekedi. This is because the entire Kinshasa press reported that President Félix Tshisekedi was blocking the Prime Minister Sylvestre Ilunga Ilunkamba's government.

This information reported by whole of the Kinshasa tabloids has plunged the population into anger, pointing an accusing finger to both sides of the FCC and CACH power that does not seem to measure the decadent social situation in which the population is rotting.

Fortunately, the Primature quickly denies this information. Felix Tshisekedi never rejected the list that Prime Minister would have presented him by the default of the representativeness of women and young people within the Ilunkamba team.

The convening of an Extraordinary Assembly with the order of the day, in particular, the hearing of the program and investiture of the government has just calmed people's minds.
