Sources from the office of the Special Advisor of the Head of State in charge of digital information that it is under the initiative of President Felix Tshisekedi-Antoine Tshilombo, the DRC will soon have a national digital plan. The development process is already under way.

This plan, with concrete objectives and changes in the daily life of the Congolese, aims at bringing citizens closer to the administration, increasing the State budget with the fight against fraud and diversion-improving the system of health and the advent of universal medical coverage and a modernized education system.

For this purpose, a draft of this strategic document will be examined and validated during a workshop to be held from 3 to 5 September in Kinshasa at the Pullman Hotel. The objective of this workshop is to mark the path of a major digital transition through which the Head of State wants to train the entire nation to open a 2025 new horizon.

For Dominique Migisha, Special Advisor of the Head of State in charge of Digital, the national validation workshop of the national digital plan will allow to encourage the convergence of strategic orientation and planning frameworks towards coherent and complementary strategic axes.This national digital plan 2025 horizon is the path traced by the Head of State, Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi for this transformation.


It will be based on 4 strategic pillars namely: infrastructure, production and hosting, content, application uses and governance, regulation... The various themes will be the subject of sharing and deepening in the panels for validation and especially ownership by stakeholders, Dominique Migisha said.
