The formation of the government is coming soon. In any case, for the moment, the Kisantu discussions in Kongo Central, which have been going on for days, between the FCC and CACH delegates, the two political groups of the parliamentary majority, have revealed their secret.

The two parties reached a compromise around a government of 65 members (including deputy prime ministers, ministers of state, ministers and deputy ministers), with 42 for Joseph Kabila's FCC and 18 for CACH. The conclusions of these negotiations were transmitted to the Head of State, Felix Tshisekedi, for deliberation, the internal sources of the presidency of the Republic reports.

Head of State's volte-face

From the presidency of the Republic, we also learn that the President of the Republic who wants to join the impetus for change, in the name of the slogan "The people first", is very opposed to the idea of forming an elephantine government. Apparently, Felix Tshisekedi is not ready to adhere to the conclusions of Mbuela Lodge, in Kisantu, where these days have been the discussions around the formation of Ilunga Ilunkamba government.

He is already traveling to Lusaka on Thursday where he will be present alongside his colleague, Edgar Lungu, for Zambia's Independence Day celebration, before flying to Bunia, in Ituri, for the commemoration, on June 30th, of the Independence Day of the DRC, Felix Tshisekedi would have called for the downward revision of the format of the government team. The news was quickly relayed in different staffs of political groups, members of the FCC-CACH coalition.

In any case, for the time being, all were asked to retain a number not only reasonable but also passable in opinion.
