It is the size of this government, 65 posts including 45 ministries and 20 deputy ministers, which made the Mbandaka elected talk. "This is the first time since the independence of the DRC to have a seriously elephantine government. It's amazing for a country that has obvious economic and financial difficulties", Henri-Thomas Lokondo explained to Top Congo FM.

To believe it, it already predicts the inefficiency that will characterize it. He explained "that we had to demonstrate with the assistance of the Court of Auditors that in the execution of the budgets, the operating expenses of the institutions, particularly those of the Executive far exceeded the investment expenses".

For Henri-Thomas Lokondo, "if we have a government of 65 members, with a budget that will not be short-term significantly increased, we will remain in the continuity of the satisfaction of political appetites. And that will blur the political will to get the country on the road towards development. We must bring things back to their right size. A government of 40 people in the current context could be enough.

The elected representative of Mbandaka believes that when one is a statesman, one should not please everyone and at any time. "Otherwise, it would really be the consecration of the image of sharing the cake, but state revenue is not a birthday cake", Henri-Thomas Lokondo warned.
