During their meeting at the interdiocesan Center of Kinshasa, the US statesman said: "We are waiting for CENCO, that it can really save the DRC in the work of human rights and the USA will support it".

For more than an hour, the undersecretary at the head of a big US delegation, explained according to the DIA agency, the meaning of his visit to the Democratic Republic of the Congo and especially to CENCO in these terms: "I have come to the DRC to see the issue of democracies and human rights and work with civil society organizations like CENCO to see together with the President of the Republic, Felix Tshisekedi Tshilombo and his cabinet, how we can help the DRC with regard to the issue of human rights and democracies ".

For his part, Priest Nshole expressed the joy of CENCO to receive a delegate from a country that is already and can still do a lot in terms of human rights for the DRC: "You know, the Congolese people have expressed for the change and for that, everyone must get to work, we also rely on this partnership with the United States so that they also support the various political actors as of the civil society so that the expressed change by the Congolese people become effective".

The visit of the Under-Secretary of State for Human Rights coincided with the beginning of the work of the 56th Ordinary Plenary Assembly of Bishops members of CENCO which in the end will have to send a message to the Catholic believers and to the Congolese people.
