The cultural platform "www.arts.cd numérique", awarded Saturday on a purely posthumous basis the immortal « les prix lokumu » of the category to the guitarist and poet Lutumba Simaro Masiya and that of the visual art to the sculptor Alfred Liyolo, died recently, for their contributions to the plans of education, tourism and the culture of the DRC.

This activity took place during the gala event evening called « soirée des arts.cd » at the Venus Hotel, in the township of Gombe, One of the organizers, Onassis Mutumbo, gave the motivation of these two awards which represent a way for its structure to invite the youth to inspire approaches of these two artists who made the pride of the country.

The "prix lokumu" of the field of the theatre, was given to late « Maman Ewaso » for her 58 years of the trades and as first woman in this profession, while the price « lokumu de l’humour» was awarded to the actor Ronsia Kukielikula.

The Christian musician "El George" received the “prix lokumu” of gospel music followed by the scenario writer Macherie Ekwa which obtained the same price for the cinema category. All these prices was awarded on the basis of criterion of the juries based on the objectivity of art in various disciplines, in particular, the originality, the creativity and the number of the sights of the artist in the social networks.

In terms of performances, we noted the opening performance of the evening of Christian singer Nadia Mwamba, with her song "the blood", interspersed with rap footage and executed in acapela.

It was followed by the production of the young singer Eric Mpoyi who offered to the public an interpretation of the songs "Mabele" and "Mbongo" of the poet Lutumba Simaro as well as the classical music group "The Rico choir.
