There is not a single sector of national life in Congo that escapes the problems of wage arrears, unpayment or improvement of living and working conditions.

The arrival in power of the new President of the Republic, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, is for the moment a trigger for these social discontents, especially for all those executives and agents of the State who give the impression of having been long muzzled, and now find the opportunity to claim their rights close to the State.

Thus, in the face of this tense social situation that is becoming widespread, there are more and more claims and demands on the table of this new President of the Republic. Many people are wondering what issue President Félix A. Tshisekedi will tackle in order to give answers to these claims of these many Congolese.

The State-owned enterprises, most of which have become lame ducks, public services in a very advanced state of disrepair, the situation of very precarious teachers as well as that of certain magistrates who are also calling for its improvement, the task seems very difficult to the successor of Joseph Kabila, whose regime is accused of having broken everything in the country.

Faced with this implosive social situation, the socio-political actors of the former regime must be flexible in their parliamentary majority that they constantly demand every day, to accept the new orientations of the new Head of State tending to bring up the country that has is destroyed.

In addition to the discontent within the State enterprises and services, magistrates have just called for the improvement of their work conditions, not to mention the teachers' unions of the EPSP and the ESU who sent their memos to the Head of State.

The next few days are likely to be crucial, especially with the government's long-expected implementation of whether the concerns raised by many will be taken into account.
