Begun Monday, February 18 at the People's Palace, the work of the special committee in charge of drafting the Interior Rules to govern the National Assembly during this third legislature of the Third Republic closed yesterday. Exactly after a week of hard work, deadline granted to this commission by the Plenary Assembly.

And this Tuesday, the authorized services are in charge of the multiplication of the report document relating to the project of the Interior Rules, produced by this special commission. Unless amended, a plenary meeting may be convened on Wednesday, 27 February, which will be devoted to the presentation and consideration of the said report before the adoption by the Plenary Assembly of the Interior Rules.

At this stage, the provisional office of the National Assembly chaired by the Honorable Pierre Maloka Makonji, will have fulfilled its second mission assigned to it, the first being the validation of the mandates of the newly elected national deputies. And the third and last mission of this temporary office will be to organize the election of the members of the definitive bureau, and proceed to their installation.

Thus, after this adoption of the Interior Rules, the continuation of the work within the National Assembly will be marked inter alia by the call for applications for the final office. Then, will follow of the launch of the electoral campaign before the election and establishment of the members of this definitive office. What will open the ordinary session of March 2019 and lead the rest of the legislature, and install the next Government of the Republic.
