"Felix, do not forget, Papa said 'the people first'," it was reminded him by the population as an interpellation during the transfer of the power ceremony. However, to meet the concerns of the Congolese, the President of the Republic must first become saturated with the machinery of power.

He must proceed to an inventory of the vital sectors of the national life. This will allow him to know what has not worked in the previous regime and what are the causes of it so that strategies can be put in place to bring solution there.

It is in this context, it is believed, that he met on Monday at the cité de l’Union Africaine with the former Speaker of the National Assembly Aubin Minaku, who reported to him on the functioning of 2nd legislature. This meeting coincided with the opening of a special session of 3rd legislature at the People's Palace, which resulted in the installation of the temporary office headed by Gabriel Kyungu, as the oldest member, assisted by two young national deputies.

As part of the inventory of vital sectors of national life, we must remember the holding of the meeting of the High Council of Defense chaired last Friday by the President of the Republic, which focused primarily on the state of play of various security services.

The working session between the Presidency of the Republic and the Central Bank as well as the Ministers of Budget and Finance also proceeds of the desire of new authorities to clarify the situation on the state of public finances.
