Eighteen (18) senior officers of the DRC Army Forces (FARDC) took part, from 21 to 24 January, at Binza Ozone Higher Military Center in the township of Ngaliema, in an entrance examination at the School of Paris War (EGP) and the Yaoundé International War College (ESIG) for the 2019-2020 session.

These officers will each pass from January 29 to 31, 2019, a 15 to 20 minute interview at the French Embassy with Colonel Bruno Pithois, French defense attaché in the DRC. The training adviser at the Military high Schools Group (GSM), Lt. Col. Patrick Wolff, who briefed the press, explained that France is investing in the training of FARDC executives.

He indicated that of these 18 candidates, four (4) best will be retained to continue training due to one at the Paris War School and the other three (3) at the International Superior School of War Yaounde . Lieutenant-Colonel Wolff recalled the selection criteria to be enrolled at these schools, namely to be an officer of the rank of major or lieutenant-colonel aged 35 to 45 years maximum, to have military or even academic achievements and to have a perfect mastery of the French language and write it correctly.

Recall that the competition focused on general culture, office automation, a language assessment and a French dissertation, an English language test and also military knowledge.
